If you're here, it can only mean one thing: you're either an original Ruff Ryder, an honorary Ruff Ryder, somebody who knows a Ruff Ryder, or you 'Googled' a blog for DMX's rap gang and ended up here completely by accident, no copyright infringement intended.<br /><br />This is a blog by, for and of the returned missionaries of the Spain Barcelona Mission, specifically those that had the honor and privilege of serving in the Gerona-Mataro District in 2005. The purpose of this blog is the same as was that of our weekly district meetings; to edify us as a group, to set goals for personal progress in all relevant fields--family, church callings, school, work, financial, fitness and what have you--and to encourage each other. We will track our progress and report it here, those who wish to participate that is.<br /><br />We know it'll be a bumpy start. In the mission it was easier, because every week we got to board a train to Granollers or Badalona and specifically do the district meeting for an hour. Now, if we want to make this something serious and eficaz, we have to sign in every week, probably on Sunday, post our new goals and our results from the previous week, and lend encouragement one to another for our gain and benefit. Think about it: we were at the top of our game in the mission, mainly because we were called and set apart and thus had power and capacity to excel where the Lord needed us to excel. Now, as our calling and purpose have shifted to a new focus, we know we can still rely on the Lord to drive us to perfection and prepare for the challenges and blessings that lie ahead. We may follow the same pattern and outline to reach these ends, and the best way to do that is as a group. It is not good that man should be alone. (That means get married.)<br /><br />Anyway, that's the gist, people! Get the word out. You don't necessarily have to have served in Gerona or Mataro to participate; we're just the ones operating this thing.
